ΑΝΑΚΟΙΝΩΣΗ ΓΕΝΙΚΟΥ ΠΡΟΞΕΝΕΙΟΥ ΜΕΛΒΟΥΡΝΗΣ ΓΙΑ ΕΠΑΝΕΝΑΡΞΗ ΤΩΝ ΕΡΓΑΣΙΩΝ ΤΟΥ

Το Γενικό Προξενείο, σε συνέχεια των από 18 Μαρτίου και 27 Απριλίου ανακοινώσεών του, επιθυμεί να σας πληροφορήσει ότι, από την 1 Ιουνίου 2020 θα είναι ανοικτό για το κοινό, προσωρινά και μέχρι νεοτέρας, αναλόγως των οδηγιών και των εξελίξεων σχετικά με την πανδημία του ιού COVID-19.

Το καθεστώς λειτουργίας της προξενικής Αρχής ορίζεται, πλέον, ως ακολούθως:

Η πρόσβαση του κοινού στο Γενικό Προξενείο θα είναι δυνατή μόνον κατόπιν τηλεφωνικά προκαθορισμένων συναντήσεων. Η μέχρι προ τινός δυνατότητα προσέλευσης, κυρίως κάθε Τετάρτη, χωρίς τηλεφωνική προσυνεννόηση παύει να ισχύει.

Η φυσική παρουσία των ενδιαφερομένων στους χώρους του Γενικού Προξενείου θα επιτρέπεται μόνον με τη χρήση προστατευτικής μάσκας και γαντιών μίας χρήσης, που θα πρέπει να έχει μαζί του όποιος ή όποια εισέρχεται στο χώρο. Εννοείται πως οι ενδιαφερόμενοι, κατά την αναμονή και την εξυπηρέτησή τους, θα πρέπει να τηρούν τους κανόνες κοινωνικής αποστασιοποίησης.

Ο μέγιστος αριθμός των εξυπηρετουμένων και σε αναμονή ατόμων εντός της προξενικής Αρχής δεν δύναται να υπερβαίνει τους δεκαπέντε (15) ανά πάσα στιγμή.

Τηλεφωνικά προγραμματισμένες συναντήσεις κατά το διάστημα από 23 Μαρτίου έως 31 Μαΐου 2020, που ακυρώθηκαν λόγω εφαρμογής των μέτρων περιστολής των εργασιών του Γενικού Προξενείου, δεν δύνανται να μεταφερθούν χρονικά και θα πρέπει, με ευθύνη των ενδιαφερομένων, να προγραμματισθούν εκ νέου. Όσοι ενδιαφερόμενοι υπάγονται σε ως άνω κατηγορία θα έχουν προτεραιότητα.

Επισημαίνεται ότι τα ανωτέρω μέτρα επανόδου στην κανονικότητα έχουν προσωρινό χαρακτήρα κι ενδέχεται να τροποποιηθούν αναλόγως προς τις τοπικές συνθήκες, κατόπιν αποφάσεων των αρμοδίων ελληνικών και αυστραλιανών υπηρεσιών.

Καλούνται όλοι οι συμπατριώτες και συμπατριώτισσες στις πολιτείες της Βικτώρια και της Τασμανίας να επιδείξουν πνεύμα κατανόησης και υπευθυνότητας, ώστε να αποφευχθεί η διακινδύνευση της υγείας όλων μας.

NOTIFICATION ON THE RESUMPTION OF THE CONSULATE GENERAL’S SERVICES

The Consulate General, following its notifications, dated 18 March and 27 April 2020, would like to announce that as of 1 June 2020 it will resume its services and will be open to the public on a provisional basis and pending on new guidelines related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This consular authority will now operate according as follows:

Only applicants with pre-arranged telephone appointments will be able to enter the Consulate General. The possibility to come to the Consulate General on a “first come, first served” basis, as was the case every Wednesday, no longer applies.

The physical presence of applicants in the consular authority is possible only with the use of face masks and single-use vinyl gloves. These items cannot be provide by the Consulate General. All applicants, whether in the waiting area or in the offices are expected to observe social distancing rules.

The maximum number of applicants in the premises of the Consulate General cannot exceed fifteen (15) people at any given time.

Appointments that were made for the period from 23 March to 31 May 2020 and were cancelled due to measures taken by the Consulate General during the pandemic cannot be moved forward to another date. Applicants concerned must make new arrangements for their appointments with the Consulate General. Priority will be given to people who had appointments during the afore-mentioned period.

Please note that visa services will not resume, until further notice. No visa appointments can be made at this stage.

The new measures for resuming consular services are of a temporary nature and are subject to change, depending on the spread of the pandemic and following directives either from the Greek competent authorities or from the Government of Victoria.

We call on all members of the Greek community of Victoria and Tasmania to show their understanding and observe responsible behaviour, so that the health of applicants and staff at the Consulate General would be safeguarded.
